Is there someone in your community who makes it special? An A2Dominion resident who helped others overcome the challenges of the past year, or who has always been an asset to your neighbourhood?
Well now’s the chance to shine a spotlight on their fantastic contributions by nominating them for an A2Dominion Neighbourhood Award.
There are 3 categories to choose from, and awards for winners and runners up include up to £100 in shopping vouchers as well as a framed commemorative certificate or trophy. Finalists will be featured in our exclusive awards video later in the year.
We’ll also be recognising one overall winner from all the nominations we receive with a Community Hero award, for which they’ll receive £200 in shopping vouchers and a glass plaque. This special award, chosen by the judging panel, will be given to the nominee who has given the most outstanding service in their community.
And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you either! As a thank you for taking the time to nominate, you’ll also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher.
What are the categories?
Community Champion Award
Someone who provides support to their whole community. It could be someone who has offered a specific service making life easier for their community, or someone who has been there for others. If you know an A2Dominion resident who is a community champ, let us know!
Good Neighbour Award
Someone who has offered extra special help to a neighbour. It could be a resident who is always on-call at a time of need, or someone whose help has enabled a neighbour to live independently at home. If your neighbour is a superstar, nominate them today!
Outstanding Young Person Award
This award is for our younger customers aged between 5–18, who have managed to lift the spirits of others in their community. It could be that they’ve ran errands for neighbours, made cakes for their community, or have gone out of their way to talk to those who may otherwise have felt isolated - especially during the past year. If you know a young person who deserves some appreciation, get nominating now!
How do I nominate?
Nominating an A2Dominion resident for a Neighbourhood Award couldn’t be easier. Simply fill out our online form to tell us who you are nominating and in which category.
Remember, this is your chance to really celebrate your nominee, so tell us things like who they’ve helped, how they’ve made a difference or what they’ve done to improve people’s lives in their neighbourhood.

What happens next?
Once the nominations have closed, our judging panel will shortlist entries in all categories before contacting the winners and runners up in July. We’ll then be celebrating the winners and all participants in our exclusive Neighbourhood Awards video which will premier in late summer.
