Business in a Box is a series of three workshops led by our specialist business coach, starting in June.
Whether you have an entrepreneurial idea and don’t know where to begin, or you have started a business but need some support to take it to the next level, we can help.
Opportunity to get funding for your business
If you complete all three of the Business in a Box workshops and submit plans for a viable business, you’ll be eligible for 1-2-1 business coaching and the opportunity to bid for start-up funding, where three successful candidates will be granted up to £1,000*
*Eligibility for funding is based on the attendance and completion of all three beginners’ workshops as well as meeting set objectives.
Business in a Box – workshop overview
Three online workshops covering the basics of starting a business. Workshops start on Wednesday 18 June and run for three consecutive weeks.
Workshop 1 - Creating a business plan
Wednesday 18 June 6pm – 9pm
Understand some of the key elements of a business plan
Know how to use a one-page business plan
Think about your business in a logical and thorough manner
Workshop 2 - Marketing and social media
Wednesday 25 June 6pm – 9pm
To understand the core principles of marketing
Identify the different types of social media platforms
Decide which social media platform suits your brand
Workshop 3 - Business essentials and financials
Wednesday 2 July 6pm-9pm
Have a basic understanding of business finances
Use your inner resources to move your business forward
Set positive actionable goals
