“We want to remind customers to stay vigilant against scams. Fraudsters may contact you unexpectedly, claiming to be from trusted organisations like A2Dominion.
“These messages or calls can seem convincing, but they often aim to pressure you into sharing personal information or transferring money.
“If you’re ever unsure, don’t respond under pressure, please check with us directly before taking any action.”
What to look out for:
Letters asking for rent payments or personal information
Requests to scan QR codes asking for your personal details
Requests for you to act quickly and create a sense of urgency
Unsolicited calls, emails, or messages claiming to be from A2Dominion
Any communication asking for bank details or money transfers.
What to do if you’re targeted
If after you’ve checked with A2Dominion and we’ve confirmed we didn’t send the communication, we recommend that you take the following steps:
Stop all communication with the suspected scammer
Contact your bank immediately
Report the incident to the police by calling 101 (or 999 if you feel threatened)
Report the scam to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040
Scammers may impersonate trusted organisations such as banks, HMRC, or government departments.
