How we are handling coronavirus

Services

I am writing to update you on how A2Dominion is operating in the current climate of coronavirus.

Andrew Evans

My thoughts are with all of you during this demanding and unpredictable time. I hope you are taking care of yourself and others as much as possible.

Firstly, I would like to reassure you that we have been doing everything possible to respond and adapt to the situation, and ensure we can keep delivering essential services to our customers with as little disruption as possible.

Operational changes

That said, we’ve had no choice but to make some changes. Following the Government’s announcement on Monday, our staff are working from home where possible, to minimise the risk of contracting and/or spreading coronavirus. Please don’t be concerned. Our planning, training and technology allow us to work remotely using secure systems, and we aim to maintain business as usual as much as possible.

We have also closed some of our offices to the public - and may need to close more of them. We are doing this to encourage social distancing, which is all about minimising contact with other people. This will further protect our staff and customers, especially our most vulnerable customers.

Prioritising our services

Where necessary, we are streamlining and prioritising our services, to ensure we can offer essential support to those who need it most. We know, for example, that some of our care and support residents rely on us for their most basic needs such as personal care and food, so we are prioritising them by implementing a range of measures. If you are a vulnerable person, please contact us to talk about your needs.

We understand this is a challenging, uncertain time. I want to reassure you we are making every effort to minimise the impact of coronavirus on our business, while also prioritising the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff.

Next steps

We will continue to monitor the situation closely, follow the Government’s advice and provide regular updates on our website. Please help us continue providing our services effectively and safely by letting us know if you have a confirmed case of coronavirus or have been told to self-isolate.

For all other queries please contact our customer contact centre, which is operating business as usual. I do hope you and your loved ones are in good health and continue to be.

Best wishes

Andrew Evans
