Celebrating Black History Month year-round
A fund that supports projects and events that celebrate Black History Month throughout the year is now open, with grants of up to £500 available.
The Black History Month Fund 365 is available for local voluntary and community organisations planning or running projects and events. The projects should meet at least one of the following goals
- Bring communities together to mark and celebrate our shared history and culture
- Promote the awareness and knowledge of black history and culture
- Celebrate the achievements and contributions from individuals of African and Caribbean heritage.
The fund welcomes applications four times a year. The deadline for applications for the current round of funding is Friday 17 February.
Established in October 2021, the fund is a partnership between A2Dominion, Catalyst Housing, Metropolitan Thames Valley, Sovereign Housing Association and Network Homes.
Projects and events should specifically engage A2Dominion, Catalyst, Sovereign Housing, Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing communities and residents.
