The new facility at the Mahaba Café, located at the heart of our regenerated Green Man Lane estate, offers an accessible and welcoming space equipped with desktop computers, laptops and Wi-Fi.

Customers can also access employment and skills support delivered by the Shaw Trust, a leading employment charity.

The exciting project forms part of our ongoing work to ensure all our community hubs provide inclusive spaces for digital and employment support.

The new digital hub will help break down the digital barriers some customers face by providing the tools to build their digital skills, access essential online services, search for jobs and receive support from community partners.

We expect the hub to support up to 30 customer each week. The space will be available to local residents and partners on weekends, enabling additional support sessions and workshops to both residents and the wider community.

The project was delivered following positive engagement with customers and community partners, and made possible through funding from us and the Clarion Futures West Ealing Digital Fund.

Dele Ryder, Partnership and Fundraising Manager, said: “We’re delighted to open this new digital hub for residents in West Ealing. Access to technology and online services is essential, and this space will give people the tools and confidence they need to stay connected, develop new skills and pursue employment opportunities.”
