How to contact us over Christmas and New Year

Our offices are closed from 24 December to 5 January, but we’ll still be here to help with repairs and some online queries.

During this time:  

  • Emergency repairs can be reported at any time over the festive period - call 0800 432 0077. Your call will be handled by our out-of-hours team. 

  • Repairs and online queries: Between 29 – 31 December and 2 January, a limited team will be answering calls and Live Chat for repairs and online queries. Wait times may be longer than usual.

Close: Wednesday 24 December at 5.30pm  

Re-open: Monday 5 January at 8.30am. 

If your query is not urgent 

We expect to be busy when our Customer Contact Centre re-opens fully on Monday 5 January 2026.  

 If your query isn’t urgent, you may find it quicker and more convenient to contact us later in the week.  

 If you smell gas  

If you smell gas in your home, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.  

Reporting anti-social behaviour (ASB) 

Report anti-social behaviour (ASB) through our online portal My Account.  

For any serious ASB issues, such as an illegal activity like drug abuse, trespassing, violence or vandalism, call the police on 999.
