Feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of job hunting, Billie was unsure how to update her CV or prepare for interviews. She registered for our Pathways Employment Programme, a free employment service for customers aged 16 and over.
After registering for the programme, Billie began working with Yasmeen Ali, Employment, Training and Project Lead, who created a personalised action plan to help her regain confidence and navigate the next steps.
Through a series of one-to-one sessions with Yasmeen, Billie received tailored guidance on CV writing, job search strategies and interview preparation. She engaged fully with the support on offer, and her confidence began to grow.
To strengthen her applications, Billie was referred to PurpleCV for professional CV support. With a refreshed CV in hand, she began applying for roles and quickly saw a positive response from employers.
Continued coaching helped Billie sharpen her interview skills and explore new career directions. Her hard work paid off when she secured a role as a Finance Manager.
