Student - What am I responsible for repairing in my home?

1 min read

You're responsible for repairing anything you or your visitors have damaged in your home.

We're responsible for most repairs to the fixtures and fittings to your student accommodation. Unless you caused the damage on purpose or through negligence. In which case, we can repair it but we'll charge you for the work.

Check your accommodation handbook for a list of the repairs we'll do.

What you need to repair

You're responsible for looking after your accommodation and any furniture in it. You must repair any damage you cause.

If you're not sure whether the repair is your responsibility or ours, speak to someone at your A2Dominion accommodation office.
