Letting us know you want to move
If you want to move out, you need to tell us in advance.
Monthly tenancy: give at least one calendar months’ notice
Weekly tenancy: give at least four weeks’ notice
You can give notice by:

Logging in to My Account and telling us online
Speaking to your housing officer, scheme manager or property manager (if applicable)
If you do not tell us you are moving out, you will continue to be charged rent. This may also affect your ability to rent from us in the future.
Moving out early
In some tenancies, such as student accommodation, you can leave before your tenancy ends. However, your agreement is usually for a fixed term, so you will not receive a refund for any unused time.
You should still let your accommodation office know and return your keys when you leave.
