I’m being harassed - what can I do?

If someone is threatening, intimidating or insulting you regularly, that's harassment. Harassment is also when someone repeatedly behaves in a way that makes you feel scared or distressed. If you're being harassed by someone in your community or by your partner or ex-partner, report it to us or report it to the police.

To prove harassment can be hard. It's important that you keep a record of every time it happens. You can start keeping a record before you report it. 

Hate crimes

If the person is harassing you because of your disability, race, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation, it could be a hate crime. To report a hate crime:

Yes, we can. If your partner, an ex-partner or someone else living in your home is abusing or controlling you in some way, we can support you. In an emergency, always call 999.
