How we allocate our homes

1 min read

We aim to let our homes in a fair and transparent way, ensuring that everyone has equal access to housing.

We look to provide choice to new and existing customers and work closely with local authorities when offering homes to those with priority on local authority registers.

We are required by nomination agreements to give a large percentage of our homes back to the relevant local authority for allocation, around 75%. We use the homes we retain to rehome residents most in need. However, due to these limitations, and a lack of availability, it can mean a long wait for most.
