You can't apply for social housing directly through us, but we can point you in the right direction to apply to join your local council's housing register. These homes are more affordable than privately rented homes and are reserved for people who are most in need.

Applying for housing

You can apply for social housing through your local council. The "Apply for housing" button on this page will take you to the council's website, where you can begin your application.

You will typically have to complete an application form so that you can join a waiting list. You're not guaranteed a property; each council has its own eligibility criteria and housing allocation is prioritised by those most in need.

Who are A2Dominion?

We are one of the largest housing providers in London and Southern England. We have properties to rent and buy, and we also provide social housing. A2Dominion do not decide who gets social housing, we house social tenants once their local council has decided that they are eligible for it. Availability Social housing in the UK is in extremely high demand with average wait times of 18 months for a property. This can be longer in some London boroughs and will differ depending on your personal circumstances.
