What happens if there isn't enough money in my bank account to pay my rent?

1 min read

Your bank may charge you if there's not enough money in your account when your Direct Debit or standing order for rent goes out.

The bank may pay us and charge you a fee. Or they may refuse the payment and your account with us will then be in arrears. It depends on the type of bank account you have.

If you think you won't be able to pay your rent, let us know as soon as you can. We may be able to help you.
