To live in our older people housing you'll need to be over 60 or have a disability, and be eligible for a care and support package.

A selection of 32 self-contained 1 and 2 bedroom apartments designed for older people and people with disabilities. Here you can enjoy your independence, knowing you're in a safe environment with help or advice just a phone call away.
Each apartment has been designed to make it as easy as possible for you to live independently, and 7 of the apartments are suitable for couples.
Living at Rowan Court, you'll enjoy a communal lounge, with communal gardens and a patio. There's a hair and beauty salon on site, with a weekly hairdresser and chiropody service. You can even have friends and family to stay in our guest room.
We run regular social activities, including:
- Coffee mornings
- Fish and chip suppers
To give you greater peace of mind, there are a number of security measures in place too, including:
- Fob-access door security
- An emergency call system in each apartment.
Rowan Court is near Earley in Reading. It's 1 mile from Earley railway station and a few minutes walk from local shops. The scheme is between junctions 10 and 11 on the M4.
Care and support
There are part-time staff on site during the week to answer your questions, help with any problems and put you in touch with agencies that can provide any extra support you need.
Out of hours, the 24-hour call alarm system gives you access to advice or help if you need it urgently.
