Our Community Hubs are your one-stop-shop for accessing our services, programmes and events in your area. Whether you want help managing your money, finding work, taking the next step in your career, getting active, getting online or just getting to know someone new, there’s a good chance we have something for you.
The hubs will be growing, changing and expanding all the time so check back regularly to stay in touch with what we have going on in your neighbourhood. We are starting off with three hubs:
Helping you earn and learn
Whether you’re just starting out in the workforce, looking for a new challenge, trying to get your foot in the door or interested in learning new skills we can help.
We offer one-on-one support, help finding opportunities, access to workshops, apprenticeships and training courses, help with your CV and interview techniques, and we can help your small business idea become a reality. And we can even help you buy clothes for, and get to and from, your interviews, and pay for childcare while you’re there!
Healthy body, healthy mind
We offer a range of classes, clubs, and services to help you and your community to be more active, take control of your mental health, eat better or give up smoking and connect with other people in your community.
All of our face-to-face classes are on hold, but we have a bevvy of online events for all ages including dance fitness, yoga, mindfulness session, online tutoring, hobby classes and much more!
Earlier this year we launched Togetherall, a free online mental health community for our residents. You can share you problems anonymously, help other people with theirs, get advice and counselling from mental health professionals and access a range of online course and tools to help you manage your mental health.
Let’s get digital
Navigating the digital world can be overwhelming if you’re not used to it. And with so much happening online these days, it’s important that you feel safe and confident whether you’re internet banking, managing your home via My Account, catching up with friends on Zoom, or joining our online clubs or classes. We can give you the tools and support you need to help you find your place online.
And if you’re interested in helping us get people online, we’re looking for digital champions to help our residents drive the information superhighway.
