Change a Direct Debit
You can use this form to:
- Request a refund by Direct Debit if you have a surplus on your service charge account
- Request an increase to your Direct Debit to pay off any deficit on your service charge account.
Once we have processed your request, we'll send you a letter to confirm the change to your Direct Debit, in line with the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Please note: you should only use this form if you're a homeowner, you already pay your service charge by Direct Debit, and there is a surplus or deficit on your service charge account.

If you're requesting a Direct Debit refund, please read this information:
We'll usually give you a Direct Debit refund if there is a clear credit on your service charge account. If you have any arrears, we'll deduct these from any credit you have.
We'll reduce the amount we collect for your next Direct Debit payment by the amount your account is in credit. Once we have refunded the credit to your account, your Direct Debit will return to your normal monthly amount.
If the credit is bigger than a month’s charges we'll make a payment for the credit and continue collecting charges as normal.

By completing this form, you agree that we can increase your existing Direct Debit instruction to collect the service charge deficit we told you about in your Income & Expenditure account letter.
We'll increase your Direct Debit to collect the deficit on your account in instalments. We'll notify you of the value of each instalment before we take the first payment. If we need to increase your payment by more than £20.00 per month to clear the deficit, we'll agree this with you before changing your Direct Debit.
