A2Dominion's Development Services designs and builds high quality, sustainable housing to meet housing need in London and the South East.

The Group’s ambitious development programme provides homes across all tenures, including shared ownership, private sale, market rent, social and affordable rent.

We rank as one of the top 20 developing housing providers in the UK based on the 2013 Inside Housing survey of completions and development pipeline.

The Group’s commercial activities subsidise and complement its core business, with surpluses reinvested into developing more affordable housing and making existing homes and services even better.

Land strategy

The Group’s Land Strategy is to build 6,000 new homes over the five year period to 2017. This includes a £200m commitment to expand our private rented portfolio, providing 750 market rent homes over the next five years.

Working with our main contractors and house builders, A2Dominion will deliver a mixture of rented, private sale and shared ownership homes, funded through private finance, cross-subsidy and capital grants including from the Homes and Communities Agency.

Our achievements

Key development achievements in 2012/13:

  • Developed more than 700 new homes, including 387 for social rent, 130 shared ownership, 119 market sale and 71 private rent
  • Started work on delivering 1,141 new homes for social rent, affordable rent, shared ownership, market sale and private rent
  • Substantial progress on regeneration projects at Green Man Lane in Ealing and Stanwell New Start in Spelthorne.
  • Planning permission granted for the first stage of the UK’s first eco town, North West Bicester, and four other major projects including Queens Wharf in Hammersmith.


National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP) 2011 to 2015

We work with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to deliver homes through the Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) and will publish quarterly data on any expenditure over £500 relating to the delivery of our schemes. Please view our most recent quarterly expenditure reports:
