A simple guide to your tenancy
There are different types of tenancy agreements. Your tenancy agreement is a legal contract that sets out your rights and your responsibilities as our tenant.
This section and the film below summarises those rights and responsibilities in simple terms. You can also download a leaflet in the box to the right which tells you about:
- The different types of tenancy we use
- Your responsibilities as a tenant
- Our commitments to you
- What to do if your circumstances change
- What happens if you break your tenancy agreement
Please keep to the conditions of your tenancy agreement. If you break any of these conditions, we may take legal action against you. This could cost you money and may lead to you losing your home. Please contact us if you think another of our residents may be breaking their tenancy agreement.
It is important that you read your agreement carefully and understand it. Please ask us if you do not understand something in your tenancy agreement.
