Half-way point for the construction of riverside scheme in Hammersmith

The Queen’s Wharf development in Hammersmith, a partnership between A2Dominion and Mount Anvil, is now 50 per cent complete with over 80 per cent of the homes already sold.

Construction for Queen’s Wharf started in September 2014 and the scheme is due to complete at the end of 2017.

The new development, which is transforming the site of a derelict office building, will provide 165 private residential apartments, with a café, restaurant with river views and a new riverside walkway linking to the Thames path. The scheme also incorporates the redevelopment of Riverside Studios, the original home of Doctor Who, which will feature an independent cinema, theatre and TV studios.

Ideally located on the ‘Surrey Bend’ of the River Thames, the scheme includes apartments that range in size from chic studios to impressive three-bedroom apartments. The design of the scheme creates a curved façade to complement the Grade II listed Hammersmith bridge, and includes attractive architectural features such as a glass bridge and a ‘green living’ wall within the building.

Building on its successful collaboration, the Group is also working in partnership with Mount Anvil to deliver the UK’s tallest residential brick tower. Keybridge in Vauxhall will provide 441 new homes and 3,500sqm of commercial space.
