A2Dominion increases private rent portfolio, as demand grows

A2Dominion has committed to allocating 20 per cent of its new developments to private rent in response to the increasing demand for high-quality private rented homes.

The Group currently manages 852 private rented homes, and by 2020 aims to have 2,000, representing 5 per cent of its total housing stock.

Rachael Fry, Director of Commercial Operations at A2Dominion said:

“We have seen a real increase in demand for high-quality private rented homes, and that is why we have set out to increase our private rent portfolio over the next few years.

Some of A2Dominion’s key private rent schemes include Canons Gate in Bristol, Centenary Quay in Southampton, and The Panorama in Ashford, Kent.

Canons Gate, Bristol

Canons Gate is a waterfront regeneration scheme which was developed in collaboration with Crest Nicholson. The scheme features 147 homes for private rent, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments.

Residents will benefit from modern interiors, landscaped communal gardens and enjoy living in a vibrant area of Bristol, which offers excellent transport links and a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars.

Centenary Quay, Southampton

A2Dominion manages 102 homes for private rent at Crest Nicholson’s Centenary Quay development, all of which are now let.

Centenary Quay is situated next to the river with views of the marina and Ocean Village, and offers tenants a large communal garden area, as well as their own balconies.

The Panorama in Ashford, Kent

A2Dominion took over the management of 95 flats at The Panorama. Previously an office building, The Panorama is situated in the centre of Ashford and is a ten-minute walk from Ashford International railway station, with London just 40 minutes away by train.

Tenants will have access to a 24-hour concierge service, roof gardens with extensive views over Ashford and the Kent countryside, and retail units on the ground floor level, which includes a 24-hour gym.
